Der Robot II, einer Weiterentwicklung  der Robot I, kam Ende der 30er Jahre auf dem Fotomarkt. Der Rotorverschluss  wurde überarbeitet, der Mehrzwecksucher wurde fest eingebaut, auf die zwei über den Sucher befindlichen Buchsen kann z. B. eine Suchermaske befestigt werden. Die Robot II verfügt jetzt auch über einen Synchrokontakt für Vacublitze.
Bis  zum Produktionsende 1951 sind von der Robot II ca. 90000 Kameras hergestellt worden,
davon ca. 20000 in schwarzer Ausführung mit doppelten Federwerk für die deutsche Luftwaffe.
Robot gehört heute zur Jenoptik Gruppe mit  Firmensitz Monheim am Rhein.
Die heutige ROBOT Visual Systems GmbH entwickelt, produziert und vertreibt hier ihre 
Produkte zur Verkehrsüberwachung der Marken TRAFFIPAX und MULTANOVA.
