Noch im Jahre 1949 konnte das Retina Modell weiter verbessert werden. Der neue,
jetzt synchronisierte Compur-Rapid-Verschluss trug der st�rmischen Entwicklung
der Blitzlichtphotographie Rechnung. Die Objektive wurden mit einem neuen
Anti-Reflex-Belag versehen, um f�r die neue Welle der zunehmenden Farbfotografie
ger�stet zu sein. Eine glanzgedrehte Frontplatte mit �bersichtlicher Skaleneinteilung
rundet das neue Modell ab.

Alle diese Verbesserungen wurden ohne Erh�hung des Verkaufspreises vorgenommen.
Die Produktionszahl der Retina I (Type 13/I) lag bei insgesamt 258.000 Kameras.

The Compur rapid seal which is new and synchronized now took into account the rapid 
development of the flashlight photography.
The objectives were provided with a new Anti reflex coating to be prepared for the new 
wave of the increasing color photography.
A gleam revolved faceplate with an open graduation rounds off the new model.
All these improvements were carried out without rise of the retail price.
The production number of the retina I (type 13/I) amounted to 
altogether 258,000 camerae.
