Die Akarex III ist eine Messsucherkamera der Apparate- und Kamerabau GmbH Friedrichshafen, die anl�sslich der Photokina 1954 der Welt�ffentlichkeit vorgestellt wurde, allerdings hat sie den Messsucher nicht  wie �blich im Kamerageh�use, sondern an den Wechselobjektiven. Zur weiteren Ausstattung der Kamera geh�ren ein Synchro-Compur Verschluss mit Zeiten von 1sec � 1/500sec und die B-Einstellung, Geh�useausl�ser, Doppelbelichtungssperre, Schnellschalthebel f�r Filmtransport und Verschlussaufzug, Stativgewinde, Filmmerkscheibe, Filmz�hlwerk und Sch�rfentiefeanzeige. Die Wechselobjektive f�r die Akarex III wurden ausschlie�lich von der Firma Schneider Kreuznach bezogen, damit wollte man nochmals das besondere der Akarex III herausstellen, das sie ja zweifelsohne ist. Allerdings blieb ihr der gro�e Erfolg verwehrt, und sie geh�rt heute zu den eher selten anzutreffenden Messsucherkameras.

The change objectives for the Akarex III were referred exclusively by the company Schneider Kreuznach, thus wanted to put the special Akarex the III out again one, which is it without a doubt. However you remained large success refused, and she belongs today to the rangefinder system camera which can be found rather rarely.
