Im Zuge einer Neukonstruktion erhielten die neuen Optimas I, II, III und IIIs
anstelle der getrennten magischen Taste der ersten Konstruktion (Typ 2200)
einen Druckpunkt (als Signal) im Wege der „magischen Auslösetaste“ als
Betätigungsvereinfachung. Als Objektiv kam nun ein geringfügig verändertes
Agfa Color-Apotar mit der höheren Lichtstärke von 1.2,8 und der veränderten
Brennweite von 45mm zum Einsatz. Alles andere wurde von der bewährten
Optima übernommen. Bein dieser Optima II handelt es sich um die erste
Version mit belederten Metallauslöser.
